About Us

The parishes of Cowie & Plean have been linked since 1974.  This charge became vacant in June 1999 when Rev Colin Sutherland left.  The charge of Fallin became vacant when Rev Eleanor Muir left in August 2005.

After consultations with the Appraisal Committee of the Presbytery of Stirling, and the congregations of Cowie Church, Plean Church and Fallin Church expressing their agreement by voting, the Presbytery of Stirling approved the Basis of Union and Linkage, whereby the linked charge of Cowie and Plean would become the united charge of Cowie & Plean, and would link with the charge of Fallin.

A nomination committee was convened to appoint a Minister for this Union and Linkage and all churches were pleased to welcome Rev Alan Dunnett (known as Dusty) as Minister to the charge, along with Linda Dunnett as Community Worker in September 2008.
